Refund policy
RED APPLE FIREWORKS – RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: April 23, 2026
At Red Apple Fireworks, we are committed to providing high-quality, custom-designed fireworks that meet strict U.S. safety standards. Due to the hazardous nature of fireworks and federal transportation regulations, our return and refund policies are strictly enforced to ensure the safety of our customers and our team.
1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL
All sales made through redapplefireworks.com, at our retail locations, or through our B2B/Wholesale program are final. Red Apple Fireworks does not accept returns of fireworks under any circumstances. Once a product has left our possession—whether via delivery, pickup at a Fireworks Pickup Spot™, or retail purchase—it cannot be returned or exchanged. Federal law prohibits the unauthorized shipment of hazardous materials (fireworks) by unlicensed individuals.
2. MISFIRE AND DEFECT POLICY (CONSOLIDATED)
While we take immense pride in the quality of our products, we recognize that occasionally a "dud," misfire, or other defect may occur. This section explains how to report performance issues and how Red Apple Fireworks will resolve validated defects.
- Safety First (Do Not Relight): DO NOT attempt to relight a misfire. Follow the printed safety instructions on the product label. If the item fails to ignite or perform as intended, stop use and allow the item to cool completely before approaching or handling it.
- Reporting Deadline: Any claim regarding a misfire or defective product must be submitted to our Customer Experience team within fifteen (15) days of the attempted use (or, if not yet used, within fifteen (15) days of discovery of an apparent manufacturing defect).
-
How to Report (Required Information): To submit a claim, you must contact our Customer Experience team and provide:
- Your name, email, and phone number;
- Order number and/or proof of purchase (receipt or invoice);
- The product name and, if available, the item number/SKU and batch/lot information from the packaging;
- A clear description of what happened (including date/time and general conditions of use);
- Clear photo and/or video evidence of the product and issue (see below).
-
Documentation Standards: Claims must include clear photos and/or video showing, where applicable:
- The product label and packaging (showing product name and identifying information);
- The item before lighting (when available), and/or the item after the malfunction;
- The fuse area/ignition point and any visible damage;
- For multi-shot items, the remaining tubes/cakes/sections (when safe to capture).
- Preservation of Evidence / No Disposal Until Reviewed: Do not discard the product or packaging until your claim is reviewed. We may request additional photos/video or may require return of the defective item/packaging to us or the manufacturer (where legally permitted) for inspection. If the product is disposed of before review and we cannot validate the claim, the claim may be denied.
- Review and Determination: Red Apple Fireworks will evaluate the claim and determine, in its sole discretion, whether the issue is due to a manufacturing defect or other covered performance issue.
-
Resolution (Replacement/Credit Only): If a product is determined by Red Apple® to be defective, we will, at our sole discretion:
- Replace the same item (or a comparable item if the same item is unavailable), and/or
-
Issue store credit toward a future purchase (including, for B2B customers, an account credit applied to a future invoice).
No cash refunds will be issued for misfires or defects.
- Exclusions: This policy does not cover products that failed to perform due to improper storage, exposure to moisture after purchase, tampering, misuse, modification, improper handling, failure to follow printed safety/lighting instructions, use in violation of applicable law, or normal variation in effect/appearance that does not constitute a defect.
3. BURN BANS & FORCE MAJEURE (CONSOLIDATED — ALL B2B SALES FINAL)
Red Apple Fireworks is not responsible for external factors that may prevent or limit the ability to use fireworks. All B2B/Wholesale sales are final. No returns or refunds are allowed for weather conditions, burn bans, or other Force Majeure events.
- No Returns/Refunds/Credits for Burn Bans or Weather: No returns, credits, chargebacks, or refunds will be issued due to (i) government-imposed burn bans, drought conditions, red-flag warnings, or local ordinances enacted or enforced before or after purchase, (ii) rain, wind, smoke, poor air quality, or other weather conditions, (iii) venue restrictions, event cancellations/rescheduling, or (iv) any other circumstance outside of Red Apple Fireworks’ control that affects the ability to use fireworks.
- Force Majeure: Red Apple Fireworks shall not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, weather conditions, fire, floods, earthquakes, transportation interruptions, strikes/labor disruptions, governmental actions, or event cancellations. The buyer assumes all risks related to timing, storage, transport, legality, and the ability to conduct any fireworks display.
- No Buy-Back / No Guaranteed Sale (B2B): There are no buy-back, guaranteed sale, or consignment arrangements unless expressly agreed in a signed writing by an authorized Red Apple Fireworks representative.
4. SHIPPING DAMAGES AND SHORTAGES
For orders delivered via freight or picked up at a Fireworks Pickup Spot™:
- Inspection: Customers must inspect all pallets and boxes immediately upon delivery or pickup.
- Reporting: Any visible damage to the packaging or shortages in the piece count must be noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) or Bill of Lading (BOL) before the driver leaves.
- Claims: Claims for shipping damage or missing items must be reported to Red Apple Fireworks within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. Failure to note damage on the POD/BOL may result in the denial of your claim.
5. B2B AND WHOLESALE SPECIFIC TERMS
For B2B Program participants, the following additional terms apply:
- Inventory Risk: Wholesalers assume all risk of loss once the product is delivered. No "buy-back" or "guaranteed sale" programs exist.
- UOM Integrity: For products sold in specific Units of Measure (UOM), such as cases or sets, credits for defects will be calculated based on the individual item's value within that UOM.
6. CANCELLATIONS
- Retail/Online Orders: Once an order has been processed and staged for shipment or pickup, it cannot be canceled.
- Wholesale Orders: Cancellations of wholesale orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee, provided the order has not yet been dispatched to the carrier.
